Payments

• 1.0       I accept cash or check for services. I also accept payments via credit card through PayPal online.
• 1.1       50% of the total quoted cost is due before work can begin on your project as a deposit. The remaining balance is due before the finished product along with files can be delivered.
• 1.2       Deposits are non-refundable.
• 1.3       Discounts are available to non-profits.

Quotes

• 2.0       All quotes include extra materials such as domain names, printing, hosting, cds, etc. The only exception are merchant account fees. Otherwise, your quote is the TOTAL cost from beginning to end. Quotes are considered promises of cost. This is the reason for receiving quotes within 72 hours from consultation. This way we can provide you with the complete cost including the extras. It gives me the time to find you those extras at the most reasonable cost and at the best quality.
• 2.1       Each quote comes with a project description. This protects me and you. It ensures that you get the type of project you ask for by verifying what was discussed. It also means that the quote is for that project description. Anything added onto the project description later produces a new quote and invalidates the old one since it changes the project description. Some minor changes may not effect the old quote however.
• 2.3       Quotes and consultations are always free.

Materials

• 4.0       Images supplied by the client can be in any format (digital or a photo), but text must be submitted on disk in order to not incur extra charges. The reason for this is that typing from hard copy can take a long time. The current cost of this is $20.00 a page.
• 4.1       Once you approve your quote and your deposit is paid you have 30 days to gather any materials (images and text) for your project. After that your account will be closed. There is a $50.00 charge to reopen the account at that point. This policy is due to problems I have had in the past. It is impossible for me to keep deadlines when the receipt of materials become unpredictable. If there is a foreseeable problem and an extension is needed and explained ahead of time then I can move this deadline in that case.

Ownership

• 5.0       When your project is finished all files involved in your project will be delivered to you on disk. I have some preselected formats I will make available to you. Any extra formats can also be done upon request and are free of charge.
• 5.1       You (the client) are the owner of all material (text and images) included in your project. The Digital Wizardry logo will be displayed on your project (i.e "designed by: Digital Wizardry") as a credit.
• 5.2       I do reserve the right to use your project as a portfolio piece in the future after the project is finished and released to the public.
